If you need to work around with clean installation of Windows XP, make sure first that the computer has the minimum hardware requirement needed to support Windows XP. Now, if you have already checked it, follow the procedure below to install windows XP.

 

The first step is to load the CD into your DVD-ROM drive. Now, restart your computer. When prompted with “Press any key to boot from CD’, just press any of the keys in your keyboard.

 

The next thing to do to install windows XP to your laptop is to wait for the screen to pop Windows Setup out. You will be asked to select New Windows Install or Repair Previous Install – or to quit. Now, hit the ‘Enter’ key to start a new installation.
